Send Money to People Who Aren't on Parallax Yet

We've improved our "Send" feature, allowing you to transfer funds on Parallax instantly! ⚡

You can now directly invite people who are not yet on Parallax.

1. Go to Recipients on Parallax —> click "Add recipient"

2. Type in your recipients' email address. Click "Add recipients"

3. Your recipient gets an email to join Parallax so you can send them funds instantly, all on Parallax.

Send Account Details via Email

You can email and send your account details to employers or clients straight from Parallax!

1. When you click "Receive money" —> ACH/Wire details, there is an option for you to “Send details to employer”

2. Enter your employer or client's email

3. They get an email with your account details!

MFA Updates

We know our users were having trouble with one-time passcode multi-factor authentication via email and phone. Here are 2 things we did to mitigate these problems:

1. Migrated everyone to email MFA by default - we acknowledge email MFAs have higher deliverability and are more secure

2. Added a cooldown timer - many users were not getting their MFAs on-time and clicked the "Resend OTP" button too soon. Eventually the first email with the OTP arrives, but that particular OTP is already marked invalid. Adding a cooldown timer keeps the original OTP valid for a longer period of time to avoid these conflicts.

In the future, we are scoping out an MFA option via Authenticator App and potentially via Passkeys. Shoutout to our community for suggesting additional ways to keep Parallax accounts safe! 🔐
